The Authority's board consists of 12 members which must include the following:

  • Superintendent of Financial Institutions
  • Comissioner of Human Services
  • Comissioner of Education
  • Treasurer of State

The remaining 8 members of the board must be residents of the State of Maine and are appointed to the board by the Governor.
